- The Festival will be held on July 3rd and 4th at the Plainview-Chicago Northwestern Depot featuring Nebraska producers and artisans displaying and selling their products along with Plainview's Historical Society's antique farm machinery show & demonstrations. - Elkhorn Valley Museum is having a Madison County's 150th Birthday Exhibit.

- July 3 & 4, 2006, Plainview Historical Society will sponsor a display of pre-WWII equipment including horse-drawn implements at the Railroad Depot Museum. Also crafts, events, demos, etc.
