- 2nd Annual Norfolk Classic - bicycle race sponsored by the Elkhorn Valley Cycling Club powered by Monster Energy, sanctioned by Nebraska Cycling and USA Cycling. 30-90 mile road race near Stanton, 18 mile time trial southwest of Norfolk and criterium race in downtown Norfolk. Part of the Nebraska Rider of the Year Series drawing competitors from the Midwest region. Sponsored in part by Madison County Visitors Bureau. See www.nencycling.org for more information.

- Benefit for Todd and Jodi Knutson of Battle Creek, who lost their home to a fire. All donations will be supplemented by Thrivent Financial.
